| Post-Paris-Roubaix,
my camera gear is in need of a good clean! This is what I would normally carry
in any race, plus a waist-pack containing my films, spare batteries and a good
chamois leather for cleaning lenses during the race. The equipment is thus;
Film: Fuji 100asa Provia for general use, and 50asa Velvia for very bright
days and when using fill-in flash. 1-2: Two Nikon F5 bodies (not shown,
a Nikon D1X) 3: Nikon SB28DX flash 4: Quantum Battery battery
pack for quick recycling of the flash-gun 5: Minolta V Exposure meter
6: 300mm f2.8 lens or, 7: 300mm f4 lens (I prefer this
one to the f2.8 as it is lighter and can be grabbed out of the pannier in an instance)
8: 80-200mm zoom lens f2.8 9: 28-70mm f2.8 lens 10:
17-35mm zoom lens f2.8 11: 16mm Fisheye lens f2.8 12: 1.4x
Extender, which gives me the capacity to make a 300mm lens into a 430mm lens if
a single rider is winning a race. |
